a nice grey finish

I recently had a professional in to convert my kitchen into a larger space, he did a really good job and I was really happy with the price too!

It links up with the hallways, and there used to be wallpaper previously on all of the walls. I had the ceiling replastered, and the same person who plastered them did the kitchen walls also.

The plaster he used was a nice pink colour, compared to the existing walls which had a grey finish to them, this shouldn’t really be a problem should it? I obviously left the plaster around a month to dry out completely and the continued.

Well when i came to repainting all of the walls, which were going to be white. The new plaster mixed in really well, leaving a nice white sheet finish.

This however was not the case for the old plaster! As i am onto the first coat of emulsion and I can still see the grey! What do i do???
